SUNDAY SERVICE GUIDELINES FOR CHILDREN

 

We welcome children back into our sacred space with mindfulness and gratitude.

We are grateful to be able to return to our public sacred space.  At the same time, mindful that we are returning with some adjustments.  We want you to know what you can expect from Unity of Citrus on Sunday morning.  Children are welcome to sit with their parent(s)/guardian in the adult Sanctuary service or attend Sunday School with other children of their age group.  The Nursery is for children under the age of 3.  Currently, our nursery is self-serve. Parents are welcome to use the nursery but must stay with their child in the nursery. An audio or audio/visual feed to the adult Sanctuary service will be provided.  Below is a list of expectations for children.

  • We request that children who are ages 7 and older wear a mask
  • While we can provide a mask if you do not have one, we request you provide a mask if you are able
  • Tables, chairs and door handles will be sanitized prior to SuThe Nursery is for children under the age of 3.  Currently our nursery is self-serve, parents who wish to use it are welcome to use it but must stay with their child in the nursery. An audio or audio/visual feed to the Adult service will be providednday school and immediately following Sunday School
  • Children MUST be signed in on the sign in sheet, and a short registration form MUST be filled out for children who do not have a registration form on file
  • For social distancing purposes, there will be a maximum of 3 children per classroom.
  • We do provide hand sanitizer, if you wish your child to have his/her own hand sanitizer we request you provide it
  • Children will remain in the classroom until they are picked up by the parent or guardian who signed them in.    Please pick children up immediately following the service.  Children will not be released to wander about the building freely.  Unfortunately we are not able to provide additional childcare
  • Please, if your child is experiencing any kind of symptoms it is best for them to remain home until they are no longer symptomatic
