Licensed Unity Teacher, (LUT), is a spiritual course of study and licensure. It provides a consistent base of knowledge and the skills necessary for ethical and excellent leadership in the church and in the classroom. The curricula consists of 25 foundational Unity classes(250 classroom hours), plus 250 additional hours of study, training and practicum curricula, creating a deepening understanding of Unity principles, Servant Leadership and Commitment to living the principles we teach.
Ann Bumgarner, LUT
She is the life enrichment consultant at the Cedar Creek Assisted living facility, Crystal River, FL. She has conducted numerous workshops as well as professional speaking engagements with Therapeutic Recreation Organizations. She is constantly developing creative teaching modalities, designing and delivering exciting and informative presentations. She is in the process of learning NVC, non-violent communication to help teach a language of love and oneness. Ann has served on the board of directors at Unity of Citrus, Lecanto, FL. She was a prayer chaplain for over two years and trained with Rev. Lei Lanni Burt, Light and Love Ministries. She successfully completed the Leadership Program in Spiritual Education and Enrichment at Unity Worldwide Ministries, Kansas City, Kansas, addressing the significance of our spiritual journey. Currently she is a Licensed Unity Teacher (LUT) at Unity of Citrus, Lecanto, FL.
She thrives on learning and believes that wellness and spiritual growth is a lifelong process of choices and renewal that creates quality of living.
Mary Magee-Allen, LUT
Mary Magee-Allen is a Licensed Unity Teacher since 2013. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has practiced as a Registered Nurse in New York and Florida.
She is a Reiki Master since 2005, having always been interested in discovering one's own essential healing power within. She serves as teacher and facilitator of
Unity classes and continues to take classes to grow and enrich her spiritual life.
