Thoughts From Attitudinal Healing Class

Attitudinal Healing was a very important class for me.

It allowed me to reflect on my past life experiences to better understand who I am and where I am going.

It was an excellent group experience.~AM

Question: What do I know about Love?  Love is a Law (Love one another) = Unity

Love is unconditional, no favoritism.

I always knew Love was a part of me to express.  I learned that Love need not come without as I was whole within.  Did not need to look for Love.

I loved myself. 'The God in Me'

If we don't feel that Love we need, to awake, Not look for Love in all the wrong places.  No one should be empty of Love.  We are all Blessed with Love. ~KF

This class, in conjunction with others (Non-violent Communication) has vastly helped me to take time away from a crisis, don't react immediately, calm down, see the other person's divinity, remember God's love for us all, and that we are all a part of God, and then return to this crisis with a sense of peace and  love and forgiveness.

I am a happier person! ~LM

How Attitudinal Healing has changed me:

I was finding myself judging others and becoming this political person.

I have let go of judgment and feel surrounded with peace.

I remain calm and confident all will be well.

I respond to others in a loving way,  Blood pressure is WAY down.~CM

I have experienced Acceptance, Love and God's Love for me.

I am more accepting for others.

I have gained more self worth.

I have  Connected!~MN

Unless you are Gay it is hard to imagine what it feels like to be Gay. To have things happen to you like being driven out of your dream home by homophobic neighbors who do things like chant "lesbian" behind your back when you go to get the mail. Or do things like dig up your newly planted plants at night, or put nails in your driveway, or kill newly sodden lawn and more. This can harden you and make you not want to trust opening up to a group of straight people. But I did in Attitudinal Healing. Led by our inspiring Minister Marciah I was able to discuss my fears, and change my attitude and learn that others can do the same. I felt loved by straight people some of which may have felt differently towards me prior to our class.~CS

Unity is very special to me not only the classes but also the feeling of God's presence there.  Walking the grounds you are surprised to see azaleas in full bloom when they are supposed to bloom in early spring not October. Spirit's touch is always present

Attitudinal healing, the class I just finished is wonderful, it draws you deeper into your spiritual self and more aware of your feelings. REV Marcia our AH, facilitator keeps your heart and mind in spirit and continuing along your journey. ~LF

Words. . .

            I love words -

Until they are used against me.

Words. . .

            I love words -

            Until they completely confuse me

Words . . .

            I love words -

Until they are turned around and misused.

Words . . .

            I love words -

Until they are hurtful or destructive.

Words . . .

            I love words -

When they are used to encourage me.

Words . . .

            I love words -

Especially when I play word games.

            I love words -

When they help me understand others.

            I love words -

When they are used to bring peace and harmony to our world.~MS
