Community Garden Pilot Project
Unity's Community Garden Project is underway! The project is intended to provide information and assistance for those people interested in starting their own greenhouse vegetable garden and to produce sufficient vegetable yields to help support various food pantries in Citrus County. The project is a joint effort between Serving of Saviour food pantry and Unity of Citrus County.
The Community Garden team decided to erect a geodesic dome structure for the greenhouse. We will continually update the status of the project as the greenhouse, including the vertical growing system, is installed.

Progress continues on the Community Garden Project! Thanks to Ken Norquist, El Austreng, Dave Hastings and all the people on the Community Garden team, we now have a door on the greenhouse.
